We, our, and us, when used in this notice mean the Credit Union. This is our privacy notice for our members. When we use the words “you” and “your” we mean the following types of members: Our consumer members who have a continuing relationship by purchasing or holding financial products or services such as a Savings account.
We will tell you the sources of the information we collect about you. We will tell you what measure we take to secure that information. We will tell you what information we share about you with other entities. We will explain what your rights are, and how you can exercise them. If you share an account relationship with someone else, such as a joint account holder or co-borrower, we suggest that you share this information with them to ensure that each of you is aware of our policy and your options.
Definition of important terms:
Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records. Hereafter, we will use the term “information” to mean nonpublic personal information as defined in this section. An affiliate is a company we own or control. A nonaffiliated third party is a person we do not employ or a company that is not an affiliate of ours. Nor will any branches or offices located in such states share this information with other parties. If you have a loan account or other member relationship in addition to a share account relationship, and you do not want us to share this information about you, you should opt out using a method described below.

If you have obtained one or more products or services jointly, an opt out instruction by any party will be effective for all of that party’s information we have collected and for all information collected in conjunction with the product or service for all other joint parties. Privacy and Security of Web Site, Home Banking and Email
The privacy of our Members and other visitors to our web site is of the highest priority to First Financial Federal Credit Union.
Web Site Informational Areas: First Financial Federal Credit Union collects information on domain names, dates and times of visits to our web site. This information is used to measure the number of visitors to our web site. It also permits us to improve the site based on the pages visited.
Home Banking and Bill Payer: First Financial has taken precautions to verify that only authorized persons log on to Home Banking and Bill Payer. We compare the User Identification (ID) and password submitted to the information we have stored at the Credit Union prior to permitting access to account information. If a password is entered incorrectly three times, access to Home Banking is "locked" until you contact the Credit Union to unlock your account. Never give your User ID or password to anyone. Your cooperation in this area protects your privacy.
E-mail: First Financial values the confidentiality and security of your personal information and account(s). Personal information contained in e-mail sent by Members and non-members may be used by Credit Union staff to respond to questions, suggestions or to improve upon the services we offer. Please remember that e-mail is not secure against interception by parties other than your recipient.
